This February, Deon Cole is going to finally tape his first ever Comedy Central special. It was revealed that the Black-ish and now Tribeca star is to film in front of a live audience at The Lincoln Theater in Washington D.C.. Comedy Central put out an early press news on the upcoming taping.
Deon Cole is originally from the south side of Chicago. Deon’s charismatic personality and original style make him one of the most popular performers in the comedy scene today. As a standup, he has been featured on Shaq’s All Star Comedy Jam, the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, Laffapalooza, and Mash Ups along with his own Comedy Central Presents: Deon Cole. After a standup appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien in 2009, Deon was offered a job as a staff writer for the show and quickly became known for his hilarious appearances as a commentator on the show…All his incredible comedic skills will be on display in D.C. as he rededicates himself to his first love Stand-Up for his first ever Comedy Central Special, you would be crazy to miss it!
