If you ever thought comedy didn’t pay, think again. Comedic actor Jonah Hill is cashing his latest check to be the owner of a $ 9.16M dollar home in New York City. It turns out that Hill has been eyeing the property since last year. This recent purchase follows news of Hill’s upcoming 21 Jump Street-Men In Black mashup .
Jonah Hill, the 32-year-old actor and comedian who received Oscar nominations for his straight roles in “Moneyball” and “The Wolf of Wall Street,” is the buyer of a four-bedroom unit at The Schumacher in Noho, Gimme Shelter has learned. Hill bought the 3,280-square-foot pad at 36 Bleecker St. — which was last asking $ 9.5 million — for $ 9.16 million. The residence comes with “extensive wall space designed to showcase large-scale works of art,” according to the listing. It features original restored columns and beams — the building was formerly a printing factory — and bedrooms in a “private wing” that overlooks a courtyard garden designed by Ken Smith, known for his 17,000-square-foot rooftop garden atop the MoMA that’s off limits to the general public.
Here’s a few concept photos of the residence
